Begin your spiritual journey by starting early in the morning from Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.
Katra is the starting point for the pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi. You can either hike the 13 km uphill trail, take a helicopter ride, or ride a pony to reach the temple.

Stop at Banganga, a sacred water spring, to freshen up and seek blessings before continuing your journey.
Banganga is en route to the Vaishno Devi Temple and can be reached by foot from Katra. It's a good place to take a short break.

Ardhkuwari

Visit Ardhkuwari, a cave temple dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, located halfway to the main shrine.
Ardhkuwari is around 6 km from Banganga and can be reached by walking or by pony. It's an important stop on the pilgrimage route.

Vaishno Devi Temple

Reach the Vaishno Devi Temple, the holiest shrine dedicated to Goddess Vaishno Devi, and seek her blessings.
From Ardhkuwari, it's another 6-7 km uphill trek to reach the temple. Alternatively, you can take a pony or helicopter ride.
