3-Day Shoestring Budget Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Chapora Fort

    In the morning, visit the Chapora Fort which is located on the Chapora river. The Fort is known for its picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and Vagator Beach. The Fort is an ideal place for photography enthusiasts. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Vagator Beach, which is famous for its soft white sand and crystal clear blue waters. In the evening, enjoy the sunset from the beach and indulge in some seafood delicacies from the local shacks.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 5 minutes (46.4 miles) from Vagator Beach

    In the morning, visit the Dudhsagar Falls which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. The falls are located in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, which makes for a scenic drive from Vagator Beach. In the afternoon, visit the spice plantation in Ponda. You can take a guided tour of the plantation, learn about various spices and enjoy a traditional Goan meal. In the evening, head back to Vagator Beach and enjoy a quiet evening.

  3. Day 3: Basilica of Bom Jesus

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church is famous for its Baroque architecture and the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Mangueshi Temple which is one of the largest and oldest temples in Goa. In the evening, visit the local night market in Anjuna Beach which is famous for its handicrafts, souvenirs and street food. It's a great place to buy souvenirs for friends and family back home.
