If you have more time, you can also visit other picturesque destinations in Japan, including Hokkaido, Tohoku, Chugoku, Shikoku or Kyushu. We advise that you visit Japan in the late spring (April to May) or in late autumn (October to November) to avoid the crowds and the harsher weather during the other seasons.
