4-Day Goa Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Old Goa
    30 minutes (14km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to see the preserved remains of St. Francis Xavier. In the afternoon, check out the Se Cathedral and the Church of St. Cajetan, both known for their stunning Baroque architecture. In the evening, take a stroll along the Mandovi River to see the beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Enjoy the Beaches and Forts
    1 hour (30km) from Old Goa

    Start your day with a visit to the imposing Aguada Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Then, head to the famous Candolim Beach to enjoy some water sports or simply relax on the sand. In the afternoon, explore the Fort Chapora, another impressive Portuguese fort, and end the day with a beautiful sunset at Anjuna Beach.

  3. Day 3: Discover the Spice Plantations
    1 hour 30 minutes (56km) from Candolim Beach

    Get an early start and head to the Sahakari Spice Farm for a guided tour of the lush plantation and a chance to taste some of the famous spices of the region. In the afternoon, take a relaxing cruise along the Mandovi River, complete with live music and Goan cuisine. End the day with a visit to the centuries-old Mahalaxmi Temple.

  4. Day 4: Visit the Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours 30 minutes (80km) from the Mahalaxmi Temple

    Spend the day exploring the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a dip in the refreshing water, hike to the top for a panoramic view, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery. On your way back, stop by the historic Tambdi Surla Temple, one of the oldest temples in Goa.

Other attractions to consider include the Goa State Museum, the Naval Aviation Museum, and the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. For a side trip, head to the nearby town of Panaji to explore the Latin Quarter or visit the beautiful Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church.
