Explore Shivamogga in 2 Days

  1. Day 1: Jog Falls
    30 minutes (19 km) from Shivamogga city centre

    Start your day early and head to Jog Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India. The waterfalls from a height of 830 feet and is a breathtaking sight to behold. Spend your morning watching the waterfalls and taking in the beauty of nature. After lunch, visit the Linganamakki Dam for a serene boat ride. In the evening, head to the Tyavarekoppa Lion and Tiger Reserve to spot some wild animals.

  2. Day 2: Keladi and Kavaledurga Fort
    1 hour 30 minutes (48 km) from Shivamogga city centre

    Start your day with a visit to Keladi, a historical site with beautiful temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Afterward, head to the Kavaledurga Fort, known for its stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You'll have to hike to the top of the fort, but the views are worth it. In the evening, head back to the city centre and explore the Mandagadde Bird Sanctuary, which is home to several species of migratory birds.
