Two Days Trip to Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (7.2 km) from Goa International Airport

    Fort Aguada is a historic site located in Sinquerim, North Goa. This 17th century Portuguese fort stands tall and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Spend your morning admiring the architecture of the fort, learning about its history and taking a walk around the fort walls. Afternoon can be spent relaxing at the nearby Sinquerim beach, which is one of the best beaches in Goa. In the evening, head towards the nearby LPK Waterfront for a unique party experience amidst the vibrant music and neon lights.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours (60 km) from Fort Aguada

    Start early to visit the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls located on the Mandovi River in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. The waterfall is a 4-tiered cascade and is one of the tallest in India, with a height of over 1000 feet. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pool formed at the base of the waterfall. Afternoon can be spent indulging in some adventure sports like trekking, rock climbing and zip lining. Evening can be spent at the nearby Spice Plantation, where you can learn about the different spices grown in Goa and enjoy a traditional Goan meal.

Apart from the above itinerary, there are several other attractions in Goa that you can consider visiting like the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral, Chapora Fort and Anjuna Beach. You can also take a side trip to the nearby Grande Island, where you can indulge in water sports like snorkeling and scuba diving. To maximize your fun, make sure you try out the local cuisine, especially the seafood and visit the flea markets to shop for souvenirs. Additionally, if you have some more time, you can also consider visiting the nearby Gokarna and Hampi in Karnataka, which are known for their cultural and historical significance.
