  1. Day 1: St. Ives Bay
30 minutes (19 miles) from Newquay

For the morning, head to St. Ives Bay for some surfing. The clear waters and consistent waves make for an excellent beginner's lesson at the West Cornwall Surf School. For lunch, stop by the Porthmeor Beach Cafe for some fresh seafood and live music. In the afternoon, take a hike along the South West Coast Path to explore the beautiful scenery and see the seals at Godrevy Point. Finally, in the evening, enjoy a relaxing sunset paddleboarding session at Carbis Bay Beach.

  2. Day 2: The Eden Project
1 hour (15 miles) from St. Austell

For the morning, visit The Eden Project, a unique and fascinating attraction that features two biomes, the Rainforest Biome and the Mediterranean Biome, that house plants and trees from all over the world. For lunch, grab a bite at the on-site restaurant, The Eden Kitchen, which offers a variety of locally sourced and sustainable options. In the afternoon, hike around the surrounding countryside to see the stunning views of the Cornish landscape. Finally, in the evening, head to the nearby town of Fowey to take a sunset kayak tour of the Fowey River.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting Tintagel Castle, known for its association with King Arthur, and Land's End, a scenic headland with breathtaking views. For a side trip, visit the Isles of Scilly for some island hopping and wildlife watching. To maximize your fun, consider renting a campervan to explore the area more freely. Additionally, don't forget to try some traditional Cornish pasties and cream teas. Finally, be sure to check the visit dates and times of each location to avoid disappointment and spend more time enjoying your adventure.
