Family-Friendly Itinerary for Goa in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    30 minutes (12.5 km) from Goa International Airport

    Start your trip with a visit to one of the most famous churches in Goa, the Basilica of Bom Jesus. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the relics of St. Francis Xavier and boasts stunning Baroque architecture. In the morning, take a guided tour of the church to learn about its history. After lunch, head to the nearby Museum of Christian Art to see a collection of beautiful religious art and artifacts. In the evening, take a stroll along the Mandovi River and enjoy the sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (60 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Spend a day at the stunning Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located on the border of Goa and Karnataka. Start your day early to get there before the crowds and take a dip in the refreshing waters. After a morning of swimming and relaxing, enjoy a picnic lunch on the banks of the river.
