Four-Day Itinerary for Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Panaji
    30 minutes (14.6 km) from Goa International Airport

    In the morning, explore the historic Fontainhas neighborhood and its colorful Portuguese-style houses. Stop by the Church of Immaculate Conception, one of the oldest in Goa. As the sun sets, take a stroll along the Mandovi River and enjoy the view of the floating casinos and the illuminated Captain of Ports Jetty.

  2. Day 2: Beach Day in Morjim

    Spend the morning at Morjim Beach, also known as Little Russia for its popularity among Russian tourists. You can rent a beach umbrella and enjoy a book or go for a swim in the Arabian Sea. For lunch, try out the shacks serving fresh seafood. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Olive Ridley sea turtle nesting site and learn about the conservation efforts. As the sun sets, head to the Chapora Fort for a panoramic view of the coastline.

  3. Day 3: Spice Plantations and Dudhsagar Falls

    Spend the morning at a spice plantation and learn about the various spices grown in Goa. You can take a guided tour and sample some of the produce. Next door, visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia. For lunch, head to the nearby Vinayak Family Restaurant for a taste of North Indian cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Christian Art and the Archaeological Museum of Goa to learn about the state's rich Christian heritage. As the sun sets, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.
