3-Day Foodie Itinerary in Ongole in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple

    In the morning, visit the Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. You can participate in the morning pooja and witness the architecture and intricate carvings of the temple. For lunch, head to Hotel Durga Vilas, located just 5 minutes from the temple, to taste their famous biryani and seafood dishes. In the evening, try the street food in Ongole, located just a few minutes from the temple. You can try the popular Mirchi Bajji, Onion Samosa, and Goli Soda.

  2. Day 2: Tanguturu Market Yard
    25 minutes (11.8 miles) from Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple

    In the morning, visit the Tanguturu Market Yard, the largest vegetable market in Ongole. You can explore the vibrant market and taste some of the fresh fruits and vegetables sold by the local vendors. For lunch, head to Ram's Mess, located just 10 minutes from the market, to try their famous Andhra meals. In the evening, visit the Ongole Beach, located just 30 minutes from the market, to witness the beautiful sunset and try some of the street food served on the beach.

  3. Day 3: Narasimha Swamy Temple
    30 minutes (15.3 miles) from Tanguturu Market Yard

    In the morning, visit the Narasimha Swamy Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha. You can participate in the morning pooja and witness the architecture and intricate carvings of the temple. For lunch, head to Sri Rama Vilas, located just 20 minutes from the temple, to try their famous Andhra thali. In the evening, visit the Kothapatnam Beach, located just 30 minutes from the temple, to witness the beautiful sunset and try some of the fresh seafood served on the beach.
