4-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Goa in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. Learn about its history and importance as a defense against invading forces. For lunch, head to a local restaurant and try some delicious seafood. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Sinquerim Beach for some sun, sand, and water sports. In the evening, visit the Casino Royale Goa for some entertainment and gambling.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    1 hour (16 miles) from Fort Aguada

    Start the day by visiting the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest churches in Goa. Marvel at the Baroque architecture and the preserved body of St. Francis Xavier, a patron saint of Goa. For lunch, head to a nearby local eatery and try some traditional Goan cuisine. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Anjuna Beach known for its flea market and water sports. In the evening, visit the Tito's Lane for some nightlife.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    2 hours 30 minutes (51 miles) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    Get an early start and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, a four-tiered waterfall with a stunning view of the surrounding forest. Take a jeep ride to the base of the waterfall for a refreshing dip in the pool. For lunch, enjoy a picnic by the waterfall or head to a nearby restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Spice Plantation for a guided tour of the plantation and a traditional Goan lunch. In the evening, head back to your hotel for some relaxation.

  4. Day 4: Ancestral Goa and Miramar Beach
    1 hour 30 minutes (20 miles) from Dudhsagar Falls

    Start the day by visiting the Ancestral Goa, a park that showcases the Goan way of life and ancient culture. Stroll through the park and admire the sculptures and exhibits. For lunch, head to a nearby restaurant and try some Goan street food. In the afternoon, visit Miramar Beach, a popular beach with a beautiful sunset view. Take a dip in the sea or just relax on the beach. In the evening, head back to your hotel and pack for your return journey.
