A Four-Day Adventure in Goa: December 2023

  1. Day 1: Beaches and Forts
    30 minutes (15 miles) from Goa International Airport

  2. Day 2: Temples and Churches

    Start your day at the Shri Mangueshi Temple, located in Priol. It is one of the largest and most popular Hindu temples in Goa, showcasing the traditional Hindu architecture and culture.

    In the afternoon, visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in Old Goa. It houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, a revered Catholic saint.

    In the evening, visit the Se Cathedral, one of the largest churches in Asia, located adjacent to the Basilica of Bom Jesus. The church is dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria and showcases the Portuguese-Gothic architecture.

  3. Day 3: Waterfalls and Spice Plantations
    1 hour 30 minutes (50 miles) from Se Cathedral

    Start your day with a visit to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, located on the Goa-Karnataka border. The falls are one of the tallest in India and offer a mesmerizing view of the cascading water amidst the lush greenery.

    In the afternoon, head to the Sahakari Spice Farm, located in Ponda. You can explore the various spice plantations, enjoy an elephant ride, and indulge in authentic Goan cuisine.

    In the evening, head back to your hotel and relax.

  4. Day 4: Wildlife and Cruise
    1 hour (30 miles) from Sahakari Spice Farm
