Maunt Abu - Adventure Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Trek to Guru Shikhar
    30 minutes (15.3 km) from Abu Road Railway Station

    Start your day early with a trek to the highest peak in Mount Abu - Guru Shikhar. The trek is about 1.5 km long and is moderately difficult. Reach the top to witness the beautiful panoramic view of the Aravalli range. After the trek, take a break and try the local Rajasthani cuisine at the nearby restaurants. Spend the evening exploring the Nakki Lake or shopping in the nearby markets.

  2. Day 2: Rappelling and Zip-lining at Adventure Camp
    20 minutes (8.7 km) from Nakki Lake

    Indulge in some adventure activities like Rappelling and Zip-lining at the Adventure Camp in Mount Abu. Spend the morning testing your limits and adrenaline rush. After lunch, visit the Achalgarh Fort, a 14th-century fort that has a history of many battles and is now a popular tourist attraction. Spend the evening at the Sunset Point, which offers a stunning view of the sun setting behind the Aravalli range.

  3. Day 3: Cave Exploration at Arbuda Devi Temple
    15 minutes (6.5 km) from Sunset Point

    Visit the Arbuda Devi Temple and explore the nearby caves. These caves have religious significance and are believed to be the meditation spot for many sages. Spend the afternoon visiting the Dilwara Jain Temples, known for its intricate marble carvings and architecture. End your day at the Toad Rock, a rock formation that looks like a toad and offers a beautiful view of the city at night.

  4. Day 4: Wildlife Safari at Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary
    30 minutes (17.6 km) from Toad Rock

    End your trip with an adventurous Jeep Safari at the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to several species of animals such as the leopard, Indian fox, and sloth bear. Spend the afternoon at the Peace Park and enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of nature. End your day with a visit to the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University and Museum, which provides insight into the spiritual aspects of Mount Abu.
