2-Day Adventure Itinerary for Kanthaloor in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Meenuliyan Para Trek

    Morning: Start your day with a thrilling trek to Meenuliyan Para, a beautiful hill located in the Western Ghats.     Afternoon: Enjoy a picnic lunch at the summit while soaking in the stunning views. You can also explore the nearby tea estates and interact with local tea pickers to learn about their daily lives.

    Evening: Head back to your hotel for some rest and relaxation, or visit the nearby Kanthaloor Apple Orchard to taste some delicious apples and other local fruits.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (31.1 miles) from Kanthaloor

    Morning: Start your day early and drive to Eravikulam National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the park's lush greenery and spot several species of birds and animals along the way.

    Afternoon: Have lunch at the park's cafeteria and continue your exploration of the park. Make sure to visit the Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, which offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

    Evening: Return to Kanthaloor and spend your evening relaxing at your hotel or visit the nearby Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary for a night safari and spot some nocturnal animals.
