Don't miss the Mubarak Mahal, the Chandra Mahal, and the Diwan-i-Khas. In the afternoon, visit the stunning Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. The intricate honeycomb facade was designed to allow royal ladies to observe street festivals and processions without being seen.

  2. Day 2: Amer Fort

Get ready for a day trip to Amer Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the palace's intricate mirror work, marble carvings, and intricate paintings. Don't miss the Sheesh Mahal, also known as the Palace of Mirrors. In the afternoon, visit the Jantar Mantar observatory, an astronomical observation site with impressive instruments that still provide accurate readings today.

  3. Day 3: Bikaner Camel Festival
6 hours (331 km) from Amer Fort

Head to Bikaner to attend the annual Camel Festival. This two-day festival takes place in the months of January or February and celebrates the "Ship of the Desert." 4. Day 4: Vaishno Devi Temple
6.5 hours (354 km) from Bikaner

Visit the Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the most revered Hindu shrines in India. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti and attracts millions of visitors each year. The journey to the temple includes a 12-kilometer trek from the base of the mountain. The trek takes around 6 hours one way, but you can also hire a pony or a palanquin to take you up the mountain.

  5. Day 5: Jammu City
2 hours (67 km) from Vaishno Devi Temple

End your trip in Jammu City, the winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir. Visit the beautiful Raghunath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Rama, and the Bahu Fort, an ancient fort located on the left bank of the Tawi River.
