3-Day Itinerary for Visakhapatnam in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Ramakrishna Beach
    14 minutes (4.8 km) from Visakhapatnam Railway Station

    In the morning, explore Ramakrishna Beach, one of the most popular beaches in the city. Take a stroll along the long promenade and enjoy the sunrise. You can also try some local delicacies at the beachside food stalls. In the afternoon, visit the Kali Temple, located on a small hill near the beach. It's a peaceful spot with a beautiful view of the sea. In the evening, head to the INS Kurusura Submarine Museum, which showcases India's first submarine that was decommissioned in 2001.

  2. Day 2: Araku Valley
    3 hours 30 minutes (116 km) from Ramakrishna Beach

    Take a day trip to Araku Valley, a picturesque hill station surrounded by the Eastern Ghats. Start early in the morning and enjoy the scenic drive through the mountains. Visit the Borra Caves, one of the largest and deepest caves in India. After lunch, explore the Ananthagiri Coffee Plantation and the Padmapuram Botanical Gardens. In the evening, head back to Visakhapatnam.

  3. Day 3: Simhachalam Temple
    25 minutes (10 km) from Visakhapatnam Railway Station

    Visit the Simhachalam Temple, a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Narasimha. It's located on top of a hill and offers breathtaking views of the city.
