Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Port Blair
    1.4 km (10 min) from Veer Savarkar International Airport

    As you land on Veer Savarkar International Airport, head to your hotel to freshen up. Begin the trip by exploring the Cellular Jail, a colonial prison that stood witness to the Indian independence struggle. Later, visit the Corbyn's Cove beach to laze around, have some coconut water and enjoy the surreal sunset.

  • Day 2: Port Blair to Havelock Island
    45 km (2 hours 30 min) by ferry from Port Blair

    Take an early morning ferry ride to Havelock Island, aka Swaraj Island, and explore the famous Radhanagar Beach. It is known as one of the best beaches in Asia with white sand and crystal-clear waters. Spend the rest of the day swimming, sunbathing or indulge in some water sports.

  • Day 3: Havelock Island to Neil Island
    18 km (40 minutes) by ferry from Havelock Island

    After breakfast, head to Neil Island, the island of lush green forests, coral reefs, and white sandy beaches. Visit the Bharatpur Beach to admire the stunning coral formations and the breathtaking sunset. Or take a glass-bottom boat to see the corals and marine life up close.

  • Day 4: Neil Island to Diglipur
    90 km (4 hours) by road from Neil Island

    Get up early to visit the natural wonderland- Laxmanpur Beach, renowned for its sunsets, serene surroundings, and exotic marine life. Later, head to Diglipur scoping the picturesque Ross and Smith Islands connected by a thin sandy bar. Enjoy the magnificent sunset and stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 5: Diglipur to Baratang Island
    125 km (4 hours) by road from Diglipur

    Start the day by visiting the serene beaches of Kalipur or Pathi Level or relax at the hotel. Later, drive towards Baratang Island by passing through dense mangrove forest and reach the mysterious Limestone Caves. After enjoying a guided tour of the caves, head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

  • Day 6: Baratang to Port Blair
    98 km (2 hours 30 minutes) from Baratang

    Visit the mud volcanoes known as "Jalki" and a beach, 'Baludera or Roglachang' at Baratang. Then return to Port Blair and explore the Samudrika Marine Museum to learn about the Andaman Islands' history and nature. Finally, wind up strolling around Aberdeen Bazaar to buy souvenirs.

  • Day 7: Departure
    3.4 km (10 min) from Veer Savarkar International Airport

    Head to the airport and fly back home with a bagful of memories.

Transportation:

Andaman Islands have limited public transportation, so it is best to hire a private taxi or bike on a per-day basis for exploring the island. The cost of hiring a private car for one day is around INR 1500-2000. Ferries are available to hop between islands and will cost you around INR 200-1200 per person.

Useful Tips:

If you have more time, you can include activities such as turtle nesting at Kalipur Beach, scuba diving in Havelock Island, or Game Fishing at Diglipur Island. If you have less time, consider trimming your itinerary and stick to the activities that interest you the most.
