A Relaxing 2-Day Itinerary in Goa - October 2023

  1. Day 1: Aguada Fort
    30 minutes (10.5 km) from Dabolim Airport

    Start your day by visiting the famous Aguada Fort, built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. The fort offers panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River. Take a leisurely walk around the fort, learn about its history, and enjoy the cool sea breeze. In the afternoon, head to Candolim Beach, just a 5-minute drive away, and relax on the golden sand. Sip on some refreshing coconut water or try some local seafood at one of the beach shacks. In the evening, walk over to Sinquerim Beach nearby and catch a beautiful sunset.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    1 hour 30 minutes (63 km) from Candolim Beach

    Wake up early and make your way to the Dudhsagar Waterfalls, one of the most popular attractions in Goa. The waterfalls are situated in the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. Take a dip in the refreshing waters or take a guided trek to the top of the falls for a breathtaking view. In the afternoon, visit the nearby spice plantations for a guided tour and learn about the different spices used in Indian cooking. End your day with a relaxing Ayurvedic massage at one of the many spas in the area.

Some other attractions you may want to consider are the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the Se Cathedral, and the Museum of Christian Art in Old Goa. You can also take a side trip to the beautiful beaches of Palolem or Agonda, both located in South Goa. To maximize your fun, try some adventure sports like parasailing or jet skiing at one of the beaches.
