Family-Friendly 3-Day Mumbai Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (7.3 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    In the morning, visit the iconic Gateway of India, a monument built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai.   2. Day 2: KidZania Mumbai

In the afternoon, visit the Nehru Science Centre, an interactive museum with exhibits on science and technology.   3. Day 3: Sanjay Gandhi National Park
    1 hour 15 minutes (33.9 km) from KidZania Mumbai

    Take a morning safari at Sanjay Gandhi National Park, located in the northern part of Mumbai, to see leopards, deer, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, visit the Kanheri Caves, a complex of rock-cut Buddhist caves and monasteries. In the evening, head to Juhu Beach, a popular spot for locals and tourists alike, to enjoy street food and watch the sunset.

In addition to the suggested itinerary, consider visiting the Haji Ali Dargah, a mosque and tomb located in the middle of the Arabian Sea accessible by a causeway during low tide. For a side trip, take a ferry to the nearby Elephanta Island to explore the Elephanta Caves, or visit the nearby hill station of Lonavala to see waterfalls and scenic views.
