Gangtok Honeymoon Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Rumtek Monastery
    8.3 km (30 minutes) from Gangtok

    Visit the largest monastery in Sikkim, Rumtek Monastery, in the morning. Marvel at the exquisite Tibetan architecture and the Golden Stupa. Afternoon, take a stroll around the nearby forest and enjoy the surrounding views. In the evening, head back to Gangtok and visit M.G Road for shopping and dining.

  2. Day 2: Tsomgo Lake
    38 km (2 hours) from Gangtok

    Start your day early and head to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake. The lake looks stunning in the morning light. Take a yak ride around the lake, and enjoy a hot cup of tea and local snacks. Afternoon, visit the nearby Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple. In the evening, head back to Gangtok and visit the Himalayan Zoological Park.

  3. Day 3: Nathula Pass
    56 km (3 hours) from Gangtok

    Start your day early and head to Nathula Pass, a mountain pass on the Indo-China border. Take a guided tour and learn about the history and significance of the pass. Afternoon, visit the Saramsa Garden for a picnic lunch. In the evening, visit the Banjhakri Waterfall and Energy Park for a peaceful evening walk.
