6-Day Leh Ladakh Nature Itinerary in May 2024

  1. Day 1: Thiksey Monastery

Afternoon, explore the nearby villages to experience the local culture. In the evening, attend the mesmerizing sunset at the Stupa.

  3. Day 3: Alchi Monastery
    72 minutes (68.5 km) from Shanti Stupa

    Visit the ancient Alchi Monastery in the morning. The monastery houses some of the oldest and finest examples of Ladakhi art and architecture. Afternoon, visit the nearby village of Mangyu to experience the local way of life. In the evening, relax by the banks of the Indus river.

  4. Day 4: Nubra Valley

    Take a drive to the beautiful Nubra Valley in the morning. Experience the unique landscape of the cold desert and witness the sand dunes at Hunder. Afternoon, visit the Diskit Monastery which offers stunning views of the valley. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes.

  5. Day 5: Pangong Tso Lake

  6. Day 6: Hemis National Park

    Spend the last day in the stunning Hemis National Park which is home to rare species like the snow leopard and Himalayan Tahr. Morning, take a trek in the park and experience the wilderness.
