Getting around between Split and Dubrovnik is best done by renting a car. The distance between Dubrovnik and Split is approximately 228 km, and the drive takes around three hours. Car rentals range between 200 HRK to 450 HRK per day. Public buses are also available, and the price starts at 130 HRK per one-way trip.
If you have more time, we recommend visiting Hvar, one of Croatia's natural jewels, just one-hour by boat from Split. With less time, skip Split and plan only 3 days in Dubrovnik.
