Transportation

For this tour, we recommend renting a car so that you can go from city to city comfortably. Alternatively, taking trains and buses are good options. Traveling by train from Leipzig to Görlitz can be completed in about two hours, and it takes about one hour to reach Dresden from Görlitz. From Dresden to Berlin, it may take around two hours. Taxis and sharing services are also available in all towns as and when required.

Useful Tips

If you have more time to spare, we recommend stopping to visit the town of Meissen or spending a day exploring Sächsische Schweiz, one of Germany's best national parks. If you have less time, choose to explore either Leipzig or Berlin for a day, as these destinations offer the greatest number of attractions and activities in the itinerary.

Airports

The destination's major airports are Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ), and Dresden International Airport (DRS). Berlin Brandenburg Airport is 30 km south of the city center. Leipzig-Halle airport is located 20 km northwest of Leipzig city center, while Dresden airport is only 9 km from the city center.
