5-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Haridwar in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Har Ki Pauri
    10 minutes (2.3 km) from Haridwar Junction Railway Station

    Start your day by visiting Har Ki Pauri, one of the most sacred ghats in India. Witness the Ganga Aarti in the evening, a mesmerizing experience that should not be missed. Afternoon can be spent exploring the local markets and trying out the street food. In the evening, take a dip in the holy Ganges and seek blessings from the almighty.

  2. Day 2: Mansa Devi Temple and Chandi Devi Temple
    20 minutes (5.2 km) from Har Ki Pauri

    Visit the two most famous temples of Haridwar, Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi. Both can be reached by taking a cable car ride that affords stunning views of the city and the Ganges.
