7-Day Itinerary for Manali in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Hadimba Devi Temple
    8 minutes (2.1 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    Start your day with the peaceful and serene Hadimba Devi Temple, surrounded by deodar trees. Afternoon, you can indulge in adventure activities such as zorbing and paragliding. End with a visit to the Manali Mall Road in the evening.

  2. Day 2: Solang Valley
    40 minutes (14 km) from Hadimba Devi Temple

    Enjoy the beautiful scenic drive to Solang Valley, where you can try adventure activities such as skiing, cable car ride and ATV rides. You can also take a peaceful walk to the nearby Anjani Mahadev Temple in the afternoon before ending the day with a bonfire and stargazing in Solang Valley.

  3. Day 3: Rohtang Pass
    1 hour 45 minutes (51 km) from Solang Valley

    Explore the snow-capped Rohtang Pass and enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Be sure to visit the beautiful Rahalla Falls on the way. In the evening, head back to Manali and relax in the hot springs at Vashisht Temple.

  4. Day 4: Naggar Castle and Jana Waterfall
    1 hour (20 km) from Manali

    Visit the historic Naggar Castle and enjoy the beautiful views of the Kullu Valley. In the afternoon, drive to the Jana Waterfall and enjoy a peaceful picnic by the waterfall. End your day with a visit to the Naggar Art Gallery.

  5. Day 5: Manikaran Sahib
    2 hours 45 minutes (78 km) from Naggar Castle

    Take a scenic drive to Manikaran Sahib, a beautiful Gurudwara located near hot springs. After visiting the Gurudwara, you can take a dip in the hot springs. You can also try the famous langar food served at the Gurudwara. On the way back to Manali, take a stop at Kasol and explore the hippie culture.

  6. Day 6: Hampta Pass Trek
    1 hour (14 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    Begin your trek to the beautiful Hampta Pass and enjoy the panoramic views of the Himalayas. The trek is moderately difficult and takes around 5-6 hours. After reaching the top, enjoy a packed lunch with the beautiful view. Return to Manali by early evening.

  7. Day 7: Beas Kund Trek
    1 hour 30 minutes (17 km) from Manali Bus Stand

    Start your day early and trek to the beautiful Beas Kund, which is the origin of the Beas river. The trek is moderately difficult and takes around 4-5 hours. After reaching the top, enjoy the beautiful views and a packed lunch. Return to Manali by evening and spend your last night exploring the local markets.

Don't forget to visit the Tibetan Monastery and Museum of Himachal Culture and Folk Art. You can also plan a side trip to Naggar and explore the Naggar Castle and Art Gallery.
