Relaxing 3-Day Mumbai Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Sanjay Gandhi National Park
    1 hour (20.7 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus

    In the morning, visit the Sanjay Gandhi National Park which is located at the northern suburbs of Mumbai. The park has a vast collection of flora and fauna that brings out the true beauty of nature. Go for a jungle safari and take a walk along the trails. In the afternoon, visit the Kanheri Caves located within the park. The caves have ancient Buddhist sculptures and inscriptions that are worth seeing. In the evening, relax at the nearby Tulsi Lake and enjoy the serene surroundings.

  2. Day 2: Elephanta Caves and Gateway of India
    1 hour (16.9 km) from Sanjay Gandhi National Park

    In the morning, take a ferry from the Gateway of India to the Elephanta Caves. Located on an island, the caves are home to ancient Hindu sculptures and carvings. Spend the afternoon exploring the Gateway of India, a prominent landmark of Mumbai. From there, head to Marine Drive to enjoy a beautiful sunset. In the evening, visit Chor Bazaar (Thieves Market) to shop for antiques and souvenirs.

  3. Day 3: Juhu Beach and Siddhivinayak Temple
    40 minutes (8.8 km) from Gateway of India

    In the morning, visit the famous Juhu Beach, known for its golden sand and clear waters. Take a stroll along the beach and enjoy the sunrise. In the afternoon, head to the Siddhivinayak Temple, one of Mumbai's most famous Hindu temples. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is known for its beautiful architecture. In the evening, visit Bandra Fort and enjoy a beautiful view of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
