Recommendations

If you have time, you can also visit the Bhaja Caves, which are around 20 minutes from the Karla Caves. You can also take a short trip to the nearby hill station of Khandala, which is famous for its beautiful waterfalls and scenic views. To maximize your fun, try out the local cuisine, including the famous chikki and fudges. Don't forget to carry an umbrella and some comfortable shoes as Lonavala can get slippery during the monsoons.
