3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary in Jaipur in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Amber Fort
30 minutes (9.4 km) from Jaipur International Airport

In the morning, visit the Amber Fort, a magnificent fort perched on a hilltop overlooking Maota Lake. Explore its beautiful palaces, temples, and gardens, all built with red sandstone and marble. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Jaigarh Fort, a less-crowded fort with stunning views of the Aravalli hills and the city. End the day with a visit to Nahargarh Fort, another hilltop fort with sweeping views of Jaipur, especially beautiful at sunset.

  2. Day 2: Hawa Mahal and City Palace
20 minutes (5.7 km) from Amber Fort

Start the day by visiting Hawa Mahal, a unique palace with a façade that resembles a honeycomb of pink sandstone. Marvel at its 953 small windows (jharokhas) that were built to allow women of the royal household to observe the street without being seen. Then, head to the City Palace, a complex of palaces, museums, and courtyards that showcases the art, culture, and history of the Rajputs. Finish the day with a romantic stroll at the Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of Man Sagar Lake.

  3. Day 3: Jantar Mantar and Birla Mandir
15 minutes (4.5 km) from City Palace

Spend the morning exploring the Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 18th century. Admire its impressive instruments that can measure time, predict eclipses, and track stars and planets. In the afternoon, visit the Birla Mandir, a modern temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. Admire its exquisite marble carvings, stained-glass windows, and beautiful gardens. End the day with a romantic dinner at a rooftop restaurant, enjoying the view of the illuminated Pink City.
