Exploring Masinagudi's Nature in June 2023

1. 6:00 AM: Bandipur National Park
   10 minutes (6.3 km) from Masinagudi

   Spot tigers, deer, elephants, and other exotic wildlife in their natural habitats. The park is open from 6:30 AM to 8 PM. The best time to visit is early in the morning. You can take a guided jeep safari to explore the park.

2. 9:00 AM: Pykara Waterfalls
   1 hour (26.1 km) from Bandipur National Park

   Located in the Pykara village, these waterfalls are an enchanting sight to behold. The water cascades down from a height of 70 meters amidst the lush greenery. You can also take a boat ride in the Pykara lake nearby.

3. 11:30 AM: Needle Rock Point
   30 minutes (14.3 km) from Pykara Waterfalls

   Also known as the Soochimalai, this viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the Nilgiri Mountain Range and the valley below. It is a great place for photography and bird watching.

4. 2:30 PM: Moyar River
   1 hour (41.6 km) from Needle Rock Point

   The river runs through the lush forests of Mudumalai and Bandipur National Parks. You can enjoy a serene boat ride in the river and catch glimpses of the wildlife along the banks.

5. 4:30 PM: Mudumalai National Park
   45 minutes (25.1 km) from Moyar River

   End your day by exploring Mudumalai National Park, which is home to tigers, leopards, elephants, and other rare species. You can take a safari ride or trek through the park to experience the raw beauty of nature.
