Transportation

For an extended trip, travelers can include a visit to the Moscow Kremlin or the Moscow State Circus for an authentic cultural experience. The Moscow State Circus is an excellent family-friendly activity showcasing incredible acrobatic performances from circus artists.

For a shorter itinerary, visitors can skip Gorky Park and visit the State Historical Museum for another cultural experience. During the summer, they can walk around the Moskva River's promenade or take a boat cruise to see the city’s landmarks from a different perspective.

Airports

Moscow has four airports, and Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO) is the primary airport servicing the city, located 30 km from the city center. The other three airports are; Domodedovo International Airport (DME), Vnukovo International Airport (VKO), and Zhukovsky International Airport (ZIA). Taxis and airport shuttle buses are available for travel from the airport to the city center, costing about 2000 RUB for a taxi ride and 100 RUB for the shuttle bus.
