Kedarnath Relaxation Itinerary - August 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple
    2 minutes (0.5 km) from GMVN Tourist Rest House Kedarnath

    In the morning, visit the famous Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Enjoy the peaceful environment and the stunning view of the Himalayas. In the afternoon, take a walk to Bhairav Temple located a few meters from Kedarnath Temple and pay your respects. In the evening, attend the mesmerizing evening aarti (prayer) at Kedarnath Temple.

  2. Day 2: Vasuki Tal
    2 hours (8 km) from Kedarnath Temple

    Enjoy a scenic trek to Vasuki Tal, a beautiful high altitude lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Spend the morning fishing and relaxing by the lake, then have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, hike back to Kedarnath Temple and visit Triyuginarayan Temple on the way. In the evening, enjoy stargazing at Kedarnath.
