Recommendations

If you have extra time, consider visiting the Gandhi Memorial Mandapam and the Kanyakumari Temple. You can also take a side trip to the nearby town of Suchindram, which has a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and hosts a colorful festival in December. To maximize your fun, try the local cuisine, such as fish curry, appam and stew, and banana chips. Don't forget to buy some souvenirs, such as traditional handicrafts and textiles, from local markets. Lastly, make sure to pack sunscreen and light clothing as June is peak summer in Nagercoil.
