Recommendations

If you have more time in Goa, consider a side trip to the neighbouring state of Karnataka to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hampi, known for its ancient ruins and beautiful temples. Additionally, try renting a scooter to explore some of the less-frequented beaches and villages. To maximize your fun, make sure to try out the local cuisine, which is a unique blend of Indian and Portuguese flavours. Finally, don't forget to try Feni, a locally-produced alcoholic beverage made from cashew nuts or coconut.
