Andaman Adventure Itinerary in October 2023

  1. Day 1: Port Blair
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Veer Savarkar International Airport

    Start your Andaman adventure with a visit to the Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani. Learn about India's struggle for freedom and the hardships faced by the prisoners. In the afternoon, explore the Corbyn's Cove beach, go for a swim or try your hand at water sports. In the evening, head over to the Forest Museum to learn about the flora and fauna of the Andaman Islands.

  2. Day 2: Havelock Island
    2 hours (54 km) by ferry from Port Blair

    Take an early morning ferry to Havelock Island, home to some of the best beaches in the world. Spend the morning lounging on the white sands of Radhanagar Beach. In the afternoon, take a short hike through the jungle to reach Elephant Beach. Snorkel in the clear waters to spot colourful fish and coral. In the evening, head to the local market for some souvenir shopping.

  3. Day 3: Neil Island
    1 hour (17 km) by ferry from Havelock Island

    Start the day with a visit to the natural rock formation known as the Howrah Bridge. Trek through the lush greenery to reach the serene Lakshmanpur Beach. Take a dip in the shallow waters or just relax on the sandy shore. In the evening, watch the sunset at Bharatpur Beach, the perfect end to a relaxing day.

  4. Day 4: Baratang Island
    3 hours (100 km) by road from Port Blair

    Embark on a day trip to the remote Baratang Island. Start with a boat ride through the dense mangrove forests to reach the Limestone Caves. Explore the unique formations inside the caves. Next, head to the mud volcano site to witness the bubbling mud pools. Return to Port Blair in the evening.

  5. Day 5: Ross Island
    20 minutes (3.5 km) by ferry from Port Blair

    Explore the ruins of the British Raj on Ross Island. Walk through the dense forests to discover the old buildings and structures. In the afternoon, take a short ferry ride to Viper Island to see the ruins of the old jail. Return to Port Blair in the evening to catch a cultural show at the Amulika Auditorium.

  6. Day 6: Mount Harriet National Park
    1 hour (20 km) by road from Port Blair

    Take a scenic drive to the Mount Harriet National Park, the highest point in the South Andaman Islands. Trek through the forest to reach Madhuban Beach, a secluded beach with crystal clear waters. In the afternoon, visit the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park to see the marine life and coral. Return to Port Blair for your flight back home.
