Cochin in June 2023 - 2-day Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Mattancherry Palace
    15 minutes (2.5 km) from Cochin International Airport

    Also known as the Dutch Palace, the Mattancherry Palace is a beautiful historical building with intricate architecture. The palace contains several murals depicting Hindu temple art, portraits, and exhibits of the Royal family. Spend the morning exploring the palace and learning about the rich history of Cochin.

    In the afternoon, head to Jew Town, located just a 10-minute walk from the palace. Jew Town is famous for its antique shops and beautiful architecture. You can get some great deals on antiques and souvenirs.

    In the evening, visit the Paradesi Synagogue, which is also located in Jew Town. The synagogue is over 400 years old, and its interiors are a feast for the eyes. Spend some time learning about the Jewish community in Cochin and its rich history.

  2. Day 2: Fort Kochi Beach
    20 minutes (6 km) from Mattancherry Palace

    Start your day by visiting the Chinese fishing nets in Fort Kochi. These nets are a unique way of fishing that originated from China and are now a famous landmark in Cochin. You can also get a great view of the Arabian Sea from here.
