Recommendations

If you have time, you can visit the Chintaman Ganesh Temple, located just 20 minutes away from the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple. It is one of the oldest temples in Ujjain and is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. You can also take a day trip to the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, which is around 2 hours away from Ujjain. It is located on an island in the Narmada River and is considered to be one of the holiest places in India. To maximize your fun, you can try the local street food, which is both delicious and affordable. Don't forget to try the famous Ujjaini Sev, a spicy snack made of fried noodles.
