Recommendations

If you have extra time, visit the Sandipani Ashram, which is believed to be the Guru of Lord Krishna. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Indore, which is famous for its street food and historical monuments. To maximize your fun, try the street food stalls near the Mahakaleshwar Temple and Ram Ghat. Don't miss out on the famous Ujjaini poha, jalebi, and chaat. Finally, we recommend carrying a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water during the day as June is hot and humid.
