From Bangalore to Kashmir - Two-Day Itinerary in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Bangalore
    30 minutes (9.5 miles) from Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru

    Morning: Start your day with a visit to the Lalbagh Botanical Garden. Spread over 240 acres, this garden is home to over 1000 species of plants and is famous for its glasshouse which is modeled on London's Crystal Palace.

    Afternoon: Head to the Bangalore Palace, located in the heart of the city. This palace was built in 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar and is a beautiful mix of Tudor and Scottish Gothic architecture.

    Evening: End your day by exploring the vibrant and bustling streets of MG Road. With a plethora of shopping and dining options, this street is the perfect place to experience the energy of Bangalore.

  2. Day 2: Srinagar
    30 minutes (9.5 miles) from Srinagar International Airport

    Morning: Start your day by taking a shikara ride on the Dal Lake. Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and take in the tranquil atmosphere of the lake.

    Afternoon: Visit the Mughal Gardens, a group of gardens built by the Mughal emperors in the 16th-17th centuries. These gardens are known for their symmetry, fountains, and colorful flowers.

    Evening: End your day by visiting the Hazratbal Shrine, one of the holiest shrines in Kashmir. This shrine houses a relic believed to be a strand of hair of the Prophet Muhammad.
