Start your morning at the iconic Santa Monica Pier where you can take a stroll on the beach, try your hand at fishing, or ride the Ferris wheel. After lunch, head to the Third Street Promenade for some shopping and people watching. In the evening, enjoy the nightlife at the many bars and restaurants in the area.
In the morning, visit the Getty Center for its art collection, gardens, and architecture. After lunch, head to the nearby Skirball Cultural Center, which has exhibits on Jewish history, culture, and traditions. In the evening, catch a show at the Skirball's performing arts center.
Take a flight from Los Angeles to Bozeman, Montana and then drive to Yellowstone National Park. Spend the day exploring the park's natural wonders, such as Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring, and Yellowstone Lake. Stay overnight at one of the park's lodges.
Continue exploring Yellowstone National Park by hiking one of its many trails, such as the Uncle Tom's Trail or the South Rim Trail. In the afternoon, take a dip in the Boiling River or go fishing. Stay overnight at the same lodge as the previous night.
Visit the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone in the morning before driving to Grand Teton National Park. Take a boat tour of Jenny Lake and hike to Hidden Falls in the afternoon. In the evening, have dinner at the Jackson Lake Lodge with views of the mountains before driving back to Bozeman for your flight back to Los Angeles.
If you have extra time, consider visiting other nearby national parks such as Zion National Park or Bryce Canyon National Park.
