3-Day City Experience Itinerary for Pondicherry in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Sri Aurobindo Ashram
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Pondicherry Bus Stand

    In the morning, visit the spiritual center of Sri Aurobindo Ashram, which was founded by Sri Aurobindo and his disciple, The Mother. The ashram promotes the idea of human unity and spiritual evolution. Afternoon, stroll through the famous Promenade Beach, which is also known as the French Riviera of the East. In the evening, enjoy the picturesque view of the sunset and the French War Memorial at the Promenade.

  2. Day 2: Auroville
    20 minutes (10 km) from Pondicherry Bus Stand

    Experience the futuristic living concept of Auroville, an experimental township where people from different cultures and backgrounds come together to form a sustainable community. In the morning, visit the Matrimandir, a spiritual center of Auroville, which represents the universal mother. In the afternoon, visit the Auroville beach and enjoy some water sports or relax by the beach. In the evening, witness the cultural program or concert at the Visitor's Center.

  3. Day 3: Chunnambar Boat House
    25 minutes (8.5 km) from Pondicherry Bus Stand
