Adventurous 6-Day Itinerary in Meghalaya in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Cherrapunjee
    1 hour 20 minutes (34.1 km) from Shillong

    In the morning, visit the Living Roots Bridge, a unique natural wonder where the roots of trees are trained to form a bridge.   2. Day 2: Mawlynnong
    2 hours 10 minutes (79.5 km) from Cherrapunjee

    Start your day with a trek to Asia's cleanest village, Mawlynnong. Explore the village and visit the Sky View Point, a tower that offers a panoramic view of Bangladesh plains. In the afternoon, visit Mawlynnong Waterfall and end the day with a visit to Jingmaham Living Root Bridge.

  3. Day 3: Dawki
    1 hour 20 minutes (42.9 km) from Mawlynnong

    Start your day with a visit to Umngot River, known for its crystal clear water. Take a boat ride and witness the beauty of the river.   4. Day 4: Shnongpdeng

Recommendations

If you are interested in more adventure, you can go for caving in Krem Mawmluh or Krem Mawjymbuin caves. You can also go for camping in Dawki or Shnongpdeng.
