3-Day Adventure Itinerary for Nainital in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Naini Lake
    5 minutes (1.0 km) from Mall Road

    Start the day with a refreshing boat ride in the Naini Lake. As you sail along the calm waters, enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After the boat ride, you can take a stroll along Mall Road and explore the local shops and restaurants. In the afternoon, head to Naina Devi Temple, situated on the northern end of the lake. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi and offers breathtaking views of the lake. In the evening, you can enjoy a campfire and stargazing at Pangot, located 15 km from Mall Road.

  2. Day 2: Tiffin Top and Eco Cave Gardens

    Start the day with a trek to Tiffin Top, also known as Dorothy's Seat. The 4 km trek takes you through a dense forest and offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. After the trek, head to Eco Cave Gardens, located 2.5 km from Tiffin Top. The gardens feature six caves of different sizes and shapes. In the afternoon, you can go for paragliding at Naukuchiatal, located 11 km from Eco Cave Gardens. In the evening, head to Kilbury, located 12 km from Naukuchiatal, for a mesmerizing sunset view.

  3. Day 3: Mukteshwar
    1 hour 30 minutes (46.2 km) from Kilbury

    Start the day with a drive to Mukteshwar, located 47 km from Kilbury. The scenic drive takes you through lush green forests and offers panoramic views of the mountains. In Mukteshwar, you can visit the Mukteshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. You can also go for rock climbing and rappelling at Chauli Ki Jali, located 3.8 km from the temple. In the evening, head back to Nainital and enjoy a bonfire and barbecue at your hotel.
