3-Day Itinerary for Goa in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
    20 minutes (7.8 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, visit the famous Fort Aguada, one of the most popular tourist attractions in Goa. Built in the 17th century by the Portuguese, the fort offers stunning views of the Arabian Sea and is perfect for taking memorable photos. In the afternoon, take a stroll on the nearby Sinquerim Beach and enjoy the sun, sand and surf. For the evening, head to St. Anthony's restaurant and try the delicious seafood.

  2. Day 2: Basilica of Bom Jesus
    25 minutes (10.5 km) from Fort Aguada

    Start the day by visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Bom Jesus, one of the oldest churches in Goa. The church houses the tomb of St. Francis Xavier and is a must-visit for history buffs. In the afternoon, explore the nearby Fontainhas and take a walk through the colorful Portuguese-style houses. For the evening, visit Tito's Lane, a popular nightlife spot in Goa, and dance the night away.

  3. Day 3: Dudhsagar Falls
    1 hour 30 minutes (65 km) from Basilica of Bom Jesus

    On the last day, plan a day trip to the breathtaking Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The stunning waterfall is surrounded by lush green forests and offers a stunning view of the cascading water. In the afternoon, take a dip in the nearby natural pool or go for a trek in the dense forests. For the evening, head back to Goa and enjoy a sunset cruise on the Mandovi River.
