Two-Day Itinerary for Mumbai in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Gateway of India
    30 minutes (9.3 km) from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station

    In the morning, visit the iconic Gateway of India, an arch monument overlooking the Arabian Sea. Take a boat ride to Elephanta Caves and explore the ancient Hindu and Buddhist rock-cut temples dating back to the 5th century. Enjoy a late lunch at the famous Leopold Cafe, a historic restaurant and bar in Colaba. In the evening, head to Marine Drive, a picturesque promenade along the Arabian Sea famous for its sunset views and street food.

  2. Day 2: Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Crawford Market
    20 minutes (6 km) from Bandra-Worli Sea Link

    In the morning, visit the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the busiest railway stations in India. Marvel at the Victorian Gothic architecture and catch a glimpse of the local commuters. Head to Crawford Market, a vibrant wholesale and retail market selling everything from fresh produce to souvenirs. Enjoy a late lunch at Shree Thaker Bhojanalay, a popular vegetarian restaurant in Kalbadevi.
