Transportation

For transportation around Boracay, the most convenient and popular mode of transportation is the tricycle which costs around PHP 20-50 per person. Taxis are also available but tend to be relatively more expensive.

To reach Boracay, the nearest airport is the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH) also known as Caticlan Airport, which is located around 6 kilometers from the town center. From Caticlan Jetty Port, take a boat or ferry ride to Boracay Island, which takes around 15-20 minutes.

If you have more time, consider visiting other hidden and off-beat destinations such as Crocodile Island, Crystal Cove Island, and Aguinid Falls.

Airports

The Godofredo P. Ramos Airport (MPH) also known as Caticlan Airport is the only airport serving Boracay. It is located in the town of Malay, Aklan, around 2 kilometers south of Caticlan Jetty Port which connects Boracay to the mainland. The airport has daily flights to and from Manila, Cebu, and other major cities in the Philippines.
