3-Day Family Friendly Lonavala Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Lonavala Lake
    15 minutes (3 miles) from Lonavala Railway Station

    Start your first day with a tranquil morning at Lonavala Lake. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and indulge in activities like boating, fishing or bird watching. Have a scrumptious lunch at the nearby restaurants. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Rajmachi Garden, which is a perfect place for family picnics and a children’s play area. End your day with a visit to Celebrity Wax Museum, which showcases a wide range of wax figures of famous personalities.

  2. Day 2: Karla Caves
    20 minutes (8 miles) from Lonavala Lake

    Start your day with a visit to the Karla Caves, one of the largest cave temples in India. Explore the ancient rock-cut architecture and intricate carvings of the Buddhist era. Afterward, stop by the Bhaja Caves, which are a short distance away from Karla Caves. Bhaja Caves are a group of 22 rock-cut caves that date back to 200 BC. In the evening, head to the Lonavala Waterfall, which is a breathtaking natural beauty. Take a dip in the cold water and enjoy the serene beauty of the waterfall.

  3. Day 3: Della Adventure Park
    30 minutes (9.6 miles) from Karla Caves

    Start your day with a thrilling adventure at Della Adventure Park. The park offers a wide range of activities like bungee jumping, zorbing, flying fox, Paintball and much more. You can also enjoy ATV rides, horse riding, and cycling in the lush green valleys. Later, visit the nearby Tiger’s Point, which offers a stunning panoramic view of the valley. In the evening, head to the Lonavala Square Mall, which is an ideal place for family shopping, gaming, and dining.
