Two-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Statue of Unity in September 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Statue of Unity

In the evening, witness the spectacular light and sound show at the statue, which showcases the life and achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Deputy Prime Minister.

  2. Day 2: Explore the Local Heritage
    30 minutes (20 miles) from Kevadia

    In the morning, visit the Shoolpaneshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, home to a variety of wildlife and flora, including the Indian giant squirrel and the Indian pangolin. Take a safari to explore the sanctuary and get a chance to spot the wildlife. In the afternoon, visit the Zarwani Waterfalls, located just a few kilometres from the sanctuary. Admire the natural beauty of the falls and take a dip in the refreshing water. In the evening, head to the Hathi Singh Jain Temple, located in the nearby city of Vadodara. The temple is an architectural marvel and is known for its intricate carvings and beautiful paintings.
