3-day Itinerary from Patna to Ujjain in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Bodh Gaya
    110 km (2.5 hours) from Patna

    In the morning, visit the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a significant Buddhist pilgrimage destination. Afterward, take a stroll around the tranquil Japanese garden nearby. In the afternoon, head to the Sita Kund Temple, a revered Hindu shrine with a natural hot spring. End the day by exploring the local markets to buy handicrafts and souvenirs.

  2. Day 2: Varanasi

    Start your day with a boat ride along the Ganges River to observe the morning rituals, including the holy dip in the river and prayers. Then visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most significant Shiva Temples in India. In the afternoon, take a walk through the narrow lanes of Varanasi and witness the buzzing life in the city. End the day by attending the Ganga Aarti ceremony.
