3-Day Nature Itinerary in Nashik, June 2023

  1. Day 1: Pandavleni Caves

    Start your day with a trek to the top of the Anjaneri Hills, situated in the Western Ghats and believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman. The trek is moderately difficult but offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. In the afternoon, head to Ramshej Fort, a historical site dating back to the 17th century. The fort offers a panoramic view of the Nashik city and the surrounding hills. In the evening, visit the Saptashrungi Devi Temple, located on a hilltop and dedicated to the Hindu goddess Saptashrungi. The temple offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for nature lovers.

If you have extra time in Nashik, you can visit the Trimbakeshwar Temple, one of the most famous temples in India, located about 30 minutes from Nashik. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas in India. Another option is to visit the Vihigaon Waterfall, located about 90 minutes from Nashik, which offers a great spot for a picnic and a refreshing dip. You can also take a day trip to Shirdi, a famous pilgrimage town located about 2 hours from Nashik, to visit the Sai Baba Temple.
