2-Day Ooty Itinerary from Bangalore

  1. Day 1: Explore Ooty Town

    9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Government Botanical Garden

    The Government Botanical Garden sprawls over 55 acres and is home to a variety of flora. The garden has a prehistoric fossil tree, a monkey puzzle tree which is believed to be over 20 million years old, and a range of exotic plants. You can spend some peaceful time here, enjoying the greenery and the fresh air.

    12:30 pm - 2:00 pm: Ooty Lake

    Ooty Lake is an artificial lake that was built in 1824. You can take a boat ride here, enjoy some snacks at the food stalls nearby, and take a walk around the lake. It's a great place to unwind and relax.

    3:00 pm - 5:00 pm: St. Stephen's Church

    St. Stephen's Church is a beautiful church located in the heart of Ooty. It was built in 1829 and has a beautiful stained glass window that depicts the Last Supper. You can also see the memorial plaques of many British officers who served in India.

  2. Day 2: Visit Coonoor

    11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Dolphin's Nose

    Dolphin's Nose is a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys. You can see the Catherine Falls from here. It's a great place to take some photos and enjoy the view.

    2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Highfield Tea Factory

    The Highfield Tea Factory is located in Coonoor and offers a tour that explains the tea making process. You can see the tea leaves being processed and taste some of the teas that are produced here.
